Welcome to School!
Gan Shalom Preschool is a warm and joyful place where little ones from infancy through preschool grow, explore, and shine. In our caring, play-based environment, every child is valued and supported as they build friendships, confidence, and early learning skills. Through hands-on activities, music, art, sensory play, and lots of imagination, children develop language, early math, creativity, and independence. We celebrate Jewish values and holidays in a joyful and welcoming way. Gan Shalom welcomes families of all backgrounds seeking a values-based, enriching preschool experience.
Get Started With Our School
Affordable Rates
Our preschool is part of the Canada-Wide Early Learning & Child Care (CWELCC) System, making our program affordable for you.
Full Day Program
Our full-day program runs from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with the additional option of early drop-off at 8:00 AM and late pick-up at 6:00 PM.
Qualified Teachers
Our incredible teachers have a wealth of knowledge and experience. We staff Registered Early Childhood Educators in every classroom, alongside knowledgeable and responsive assistants. All of our staff have a clear police record check, and are also certified in First Aid and CPR.
Jewish Education
At Gan Shalom, your child will explore Shabbat, Jewish holidays and culture, Torah stories and Hebrew, all tailored to young children. They’ll experience Judaism through all their senses in a safe, nurturing environment designed just for them.

Kosher Meals
Kosher and nutritious lunch and snacks will be provided daily. Due to common allergies and restrictions, Gan Shalom isa nut-free facility. We kindly ask all parents to refrain from bringing in food from home.
Creative Lessons
Our curriculum is full of fun, theme-based activities that give children lots of different experiences and help them grow important skills. Early in the school year, Curriculum Night will give parents a peek into our classroom, sharing our goals, daily routine, and all the exciting things your child will be learning and exploring each day.
