Chabad of Guelph is famous for its outstanding weekly Shabbat experience. The homey and warm setting allows students to meet new friends from every niche of the UofG campus, while feasting on a gourmet home cooked meal. Over 1000 Jewish students from across the globe come together for an unforgettable weekend. Mega Shabbat
It gets bigger and bigger each year! Mega Shabbat is the largest Shabbat dinner at The University of Guelph! With the goal to bring ever increasing numbers of Jews together for an unforgettable Shabbat dinner in a heated tent on the Chabad House front lawn, Mega Shabbat is an absolute highlight of every Jewish Gryphons year.
Mega Shabbat debuted in 2014 with Shabbat 100. Just three years later that number doubled to Shabbat 200! Over 200 excited students and faculty came together to experience the greatest of great Shabbat dinners.
